HOW IT WORKS

  Partners offering surgery services in poor regions apply to Samahope.

  Samahope verifies the operating history, budget, and results of each applicant. Where possible, we leverage due diligence from GiveWell and GlobalGiving. Those that meet criteria become Partners.

  Partners upload real patient profiles.
• 4
  Donors view profiles and fund surgeries on samahope.org.
• 5
  Samahope transfers funds to Partners after successful completion of each surgery to reimburse the partner for the cost of the operation. Funds are disbursed in 30-day cycles.

  Samahope audits Partners on a regular basis to ensure that patients have received funded surgeries
• 7
  Donors receive updates on patients they funded via email.
